Comments about DHC Organic Brown Rice Bowl:
I used the Brown Rice as our grain at dinner. I put a little low sodium soy sauce on it and it was delicious. I also like to mix in cooked peas and then add the soy sauce and eat it for lunch.

All the foods we have ordered from DHC have been tasty, easy to carry, and very good when eaten alone or combined with other foods or spices. The rice and green noodles, etc., are perfect for our needs and tastes.

I usually have half a cup of some kind of starch at lunch, and each of these bowls has 1.5 cups, so that's three meals out of each. It's really sticky when you heat it up, but I just sprinkle some light salt on it and eat it like that. I love the grainy rice taste.
Delicious and easy to make

I work 12hr shifts and it is often difficult to bring tasty, healthy, prepared food. I just bring some fresh veggies for the microwave, brown rice, and voila, I have a good meal in less than 5 minutes!
tasty and healthy
I love these healthy rice bowls. I can add beans, veggies, cheese, nuts, etc. and make a healthy, veggie meal.

Vegan attempting gluten-free diet

This is great for taking to work for lunch if you want a healthy option (vegan and/or gluten free). One of the cons is also a plus, in that it is bland. You can add your own flavor to accomodate any dish, but on some level it would be great to have some flavor if you wanted to eat it alone. But I love it, because it is quick and easy. Brown rice usually takes about 45 minutes to prepare. I just wish it was a little more reasonably priced. A bag of dry brown rice cost about the same (or less) and if I prepare a large portion of that I could divide it up and bring it to work as well and save money.
OK Brown Rice

This was quick and easy, but it was much too dense, sort of chewy and not all that flavorful. I will not be purchasing it again. I much prefer the regular brown rice.

Brown rice is good that is low on the glycemic levels usedin moderation. I like the taste better than white rice.

This is very good, the rice is not hard & is even actually ready to eat after the recommended one minute.I add some (smart balance) olive oil butter with pieces of chopped chicken. Very filling.
