Comments about DHC Moisture Care Lipstick:
Bought one color to try and loved the glossy slightly pigmented finish, and then bought two more colors. I prefer lightly tinted lipgloss style lipsticks and these are perfect.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I ordered it because I loved the old one I had. Same product number, but it is different. Not metallic, sparkly, not happy
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
great new product!
This is a really good conditioning lip color--no fragrance of any kind, and can be used with another color on top. I wish that there was a bit of sparkle to the darker shades, but also wish there was a transparent to use as a base, because it feels that good!
Excellent texture and tint

These are the best lipsticks I have used. It is difficult to tell which color to order based on the computer, so I first went with Camelot Rose. On me it's a deepish pink rose. Texture is somewhat glossy, like a Burt's Bees chapstick, but not heavy at all, it sets lightly on the lips. The color is OK, very subtle, but I liked that as the gloss wears off, the color tint remains. The frostiness others have noted exists but doesn't show up very well when you're wearing the lipstick, so it didn't bother me at all. I wanted something a little less subtle, so chose the Sugarplum next. It's perfect for my medium fair skin, just a few shades darker than my natural lip color and not bright. I will definitely purchase another when this one runs out. My sister chose Clementine, and it suits her. It's an orange-red shade, but not garish at all.
Pretty colors and nice feel.
I use this for a daily wear lipstick when I can apply more often. Like at home or shopping. But I need to use a lip liner to help keep it on. I wish it lasted longer as it feels very moistrizing. If I am going out for dinner or where I need to look good for hours I use a longer lasting lipstick. But the colors are very nice.
Wonderful for dry lips
from Laguna Niguel
I have trouble with lipsticks because many are too drying for me. This one has lots of moisture in it, so it goes on beautifully. Other reviewers complained about the light color- I bought 3, and my favorite one is the lightest color! Yes, you have to reapply a bit more often, but worth it. I will definitely be buying more. I just love the sheerness of the colors.
very disappointing lipstick
This lipstick is not near the quality of DHC previous lipsticks. I used the others constantly as they were creamy...rich color as shown...lasting. I do not understand why DHC changed to this poor lipstick product. I would not recommend it to anyone. You will be disappointed . I had ordered the color of pepperberry. Very pale and dry.

Color was not what I wanted
from Baltimore, MD
The color of lipstick was too light for me. The catalog had a darker color.
One of the best lipsticks I ever used
from Bend, OR
Very beautiful natural nude color, gives me a healthy look but not exaggerated. Very moisturizing. Nice texture and feel on the lips. Love It!!! Will purchase more. Sweetpea is the color I got.

I had told myself not to buy DHC makeup anymore (the skin products are great, but I always have a color problem with their makeup). This just proved my own point to myself -- this lip product is very moisturizing but it barely shows any color. It's a lightly pigmented lipgloss, and that's how they should have marketed it. I got sweetpea because that was the color used on the catalog model, but when I wear it, it's like I have chapstick on and nothing else. I am disappointed.
