Web whiz
Amanda Lam Amanda Lam
Outside of the office, this 30-year-old DHC web designer enjoys taking advantage of the Bay Area's amazing culinary gems. "My mom has liked taking me to different restaurants since I was little, I guess this has become my habit. I like foods that are simple and healthy without adding lots of oil and salt," she says. You can also find her taking in nature's scenery with her camera. "It is always joyful to capture the best
moment from nature – colorful flowers, landscape and birds resting upon the trees."

Amanda offers this insider tip for maximizing two of her favorite DHC products. She mixes ultra-hydrating Olive Leaf Milk with creamy Q10 Moisture Care Liquid Foundation. "It helps to spread the foundation evenly and gives me flawless results," she says.
New York City Lincoln Center
With New York Fashion Week rolling out the runways at Lincoln Center (right) this month, we thought we'd put the spotlight on some of our favorite fashion and beauty related haunts in the Empire City.

1: Bond No. 9 Skip the tour bus and take an olfactory tour of New York with this iconic perfumery.
2: Mood Fabrics Browse the bolts of chiffon, sateen and silk at this Project Runway endorsed fabric source—make sure to say hello to Swatch, the shop's Boston terrier mascot.

4: The Museum at FIT Immerse yourself in the fashionable life of modern tastemaker, socialite and designer muse Daphne Guinness. Starting September 16, FIT opens an exhibition featuring the couture collector and her sensational looks.
5: Soho This New York neighborhood, a.k.a. Shopper's Paradise, is home to hundreds of boutiques. Top picks among our staff include jeweler Alexis Bittar and his Lucite and rhinestone baubles, Ted Baker for cutting-edge London frocks, Marc Jacobs for his quirky clothes and accessories, and the new for-charity shop, Treasure & Bond.

Beauty Tip
Exfoliation nation
We all know sloughing off lifeless skin cells is a terrific way to reveal a fresher-looking complexion. But, many forget about elbows and knees, which can give away your true age or (gasp!) make you look older. Olive-Corn Body Scrub & Polish not only cleanses and exfoliates, but also imparts a veil of moisture. Best of all, it's gentle enough to use every day. (And it's on sale!)
Chicken, Mushroom and Spinach Crepes
As the seasons—and schedules—change, whip up these savory crepes for a memorable dinner.

Plus: 3 Savory Crepe ideas
Instead of chicken, mushrooms and spinach, try:
Smoked salmon with a garnish of crème fraîche and a lemon wedge
Gruyère cheese and a slices of heirloom tomatoes
Grated Emmentaler with French "jambon" ham
Masked crusader
In a recent Facebook poll, fans indicated a preference for clay/mud facial masks. We love them, too, but also adore sheet masks. They're saturated with skin-loving nourishment and let's face it—fun to wear! Our brightening Alpha-Arbutin White Mask is on sale this month; we encourage you to check it out.

Sneak peek
Psst. We're letting you in on a little secret. Next month, we're introducing a revolutionary way to control oil and stop unwanted shine on your T-zone or other trouble spots for hours. It's a mattifying makeup primer called Clarifying Pore Cover Base … and it's going to change the way you think about your skin.
