I’ve read several web and magazine articles about EGCG and just noticed that your loose green tea contains it.
Many scientists and consumers believe that consuming teas rich in catechin polyphenols—particularly epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG), as found in DHC T-Pod™ Green Tea—
can be beneficial for fighting the effects of damaging free radicals. For this reason, you will likely continue seeing press coverage about EGCG’s powerful antioxidant properties.
I found a recipe for an all-natural face
scrub that calls for brown sugar—indicating the less
refined it is, the better. Would the brown sugar I see in
your Fine Foods section be appropriate to use?
The ingredients for such treatments, including oatmeal,
or in this case, raw sugar grains, are typically selected
for their naturally coarse textures and exfoliant properties.
DHC Japanese Brown Sugar is not overly refined, making it
an excellent choice for your needs. It is also free of unnecessary
dyes and chemical additives, which results in a more granular
consistency and molasses-rich flavor‹perfect for baking
and everyday table use.
I just received my Germinated Brown
Rice and the package is hard. Is there something wrong
with it?
Not at all. To maintain optimal freshness, we package
the rice in a vacuum-sealed bag. When you are ready
to enjoy it, simply use scissors to safely cut away
the top portion of the bag along the dotted line.
To store any remaining rice, reseal the bag with as
little air as possible, as exposure to air will cause
the rice to become stale faster.
Is the Germinated Brown Rice organic?
DHC Germinated Brown Rice is not organically certified;
however, it does have other healthy benefits. Our
Germinated Brown Rice is harvested during germination,
when the rice’s nutrients are at their peak.
It is a good source of protein and thiamin, as well
as GABA (gamma-amino butyric acid), an amino acid
believed to promote ease and relaxation. Our rice
is also naturally low in fat.
Is the Roasted Black Soybean
Tea caffeine-free?
Yes. This tea is made not from tealeaves, but from
roasted black soybeans, which are naturally caffeine-free.
This tea is also low in fat and a good source of protein.
When does the Núñez de Prado Extra Virgin
Olive Oil expire?
When kept in a cool, dark place, the Núñez
de Prado Extra Virgin Olive Oil will retain much of
its flavor and composition for up to three years if
left unopened and up to two years after opening. It
is important to emphasize that it needs to be stored
away from extreme temperatures and light, as these
will hasten the oxidation and deterioration of this,
or any, olive oil. If you normally store your oil
in a cabinet that is frequently opened, try keeping
the bottle in its original packing box.
