Payroll Clerk - San Francisco, CA
We have an immediate opening for an analytical, proactive and detail orientated Payroll Clerk in our San Francisco corporate office. This position is in the Finance Department and reports to Controller.
Duties include:
- Full cycle payroll processing for 100+ employees
- Maintain payroll records
- Maintain and update PTO worksheets
- Maintain and update garnishments
- Accurately enter changes to direct deposit, federal, state or local payroll taxes
- Provide PTO balances to employees
- Reconcile approved PTO requests to timecards
- Accurately setup and change employees timecard access
- Prepare 401k reports and funding
- Prepare FSA reports and funding
- Ensure accurate and timely W2 reporting and filing
- Ensure accurate and timely payroll tax reporting and filing
- Prepare adhoc reports as requested by accounting manager or controller
- Assist finance department with additional projects as needed
Must have at least 2 years prior work experience in payroll; specifically in California and Pennsylvania payroll experience is strongly desired. Must be accurate and detail oriented. Prior experience with ADP is desired. Strong communication skills are required. Ideal candidates must be able to communicate effectively with all employees at any level and maintain high degree of confidentiality of materials and information. They must be able to prioritize, meet deadlines, and work with multiple projects at any given time. High school diploma is required.

Web Designer II - San Francisco, CA
We are seeking a Web Designer to work in our US corporate office in San Francisco, California. This person will be part of a design team responsible for creating graphical designs for user interface of three DHC websites, email campaigns and online advertising.
Essential Duties:
- Assists in determining the look-and-feel of the entire site
- Creates original graphics and icons for use on the site
- Establishes and produces graphic material for use in advertising and promotion of online services and products
- Designs and prepares page layouts for product, articles, illustrations and other online content within established web design parameters, style guides and visual standards
- Design affiliate program creative, such as banners, widgets, and landing pages
- Assists in planning and reviews the navigational user interface design
- Translates customer/clients needs into new features and new services
- Assist with usability testing, browser compatibility testing and quality assurance
- Responsible for internet design including file compression schemes and color compatibility for both Mac and PC
- Modifies and implements designs generated by others to ensure quality products.
- Design and test all elements for email campaigns
- Stays abreast of any industry-wide changes in design philosophy and any new tools and technologies being used for the Internet and ecommerce

Education / Experiences Required:
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) or equivalent from four-year college or university
- 3 or more years of experience designing ecommerce websites
- Experience designing beauty or fashion websites strongly preferred
- Experience with Japanese language/typography a plus but not required

Software Engineer - San Francisco, CA
We are seeking a Software Engineer at our US corporate office. This person will assist the Software Development Manager with programming, database maintain, gather user specifications and designs. He/she has to be able to work independently with minimum supervision.
This is a full-time position scheduled to work for 40 hours per week M-F.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities to include the following but are not limited to:
- Routinely maintains and enhances existing software to ensure quick and efficient entry and retrieval of data related to customers, orders, inventory and basic accounting functions.
- Enhances in-house picking system to minimize picking errors and allow for special promotions.
- Ensures security of in-house data.
- Routinely writes new programs to streamline tasks.
- Generates and maintains databases and mailing lists and e-mail lists for outside vendors and in-house use.
- Creates ad hoc reports and queries for management and marketing, as needed.
- Serves as backup technical support representative on Order Mate when Software Development Manager is unavailable.
- Assists Software Development Manager in running pre-programmed daily and weekly processes.
- Provides basic hardware support as needed, normally in conjunction with IT staff.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities: This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Computer Skills:

Software Development Manager - San Francisco, CA
We are seeking a Software Development Manager at our US corporate office. This person will work with and lead the software development team in programming, database maintenance, design and documentation.
This is a full-time position scheduled to work for 40 hours per week M-F.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities to include the following but are not limited to:
- Oversees all facets of the daily operations of the development team, ensuring compliance with all regulations, Company policies, and IT’s Service Level Agreement (SLA).
- Establishes performance goals, objectives, action plans, and benchmarks for the development team.
- Provides direction, coordination, and training to development team to foster their effective engagement in identifying, reporting and documenting problem areas within the code.
- Routinely maintains and enhances existing software to ensure quick and efficient entry and retrieval of data related to customers, orders, inventory and basic accounting functions.
- Ensures security of in-house data.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
Directly supervises 4-5 employees in the Programming department. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Provides support to other areas within Information Technology.
Education:
Master's degree (M. A.) or equivalent.
Computer Skills:
Excellent SQL database programming skills (writing SQL, stored procedures, tuning SQL, etc.) Database design and query tuning/optimization skills is required. 8+ years of overall software development experience required. 3+ years experience in C#, and ASP.NET (using C#). Experience with WinForms and Visual FoxPro version 8 or higher is a plus.
Other Qualifications:
This is an on-call position. There will be times when this person will be expected to work evenings and/or weekends.
Related Work Experience:
- 8 to 10 years related work experience and/or training.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in managing technical professionals.

Software Systems Administrator/SQL Server DBA - San Francisco, CA
We are seeking a Software Systems Administrator/SQL Server DBA at our US corporate office. This person will be responsible for the company’s software systems and servers; SQL server administration; documenting procedures and creating reports for the programming department. He/she has to be able to work independently with minimum supervision.
This is a full-time position scheduled to work for 40 hours per week M-F.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities to include the following but are not limited to:
- Maintains and upgrades company’s software systems and servers, such as Accuzip, QAS, UPS and FedEx shipping servers.
- MS SQL Server administration (maintenance tasks including backups, restore, recovery planning, access rights, security, resources planning).
- Write stored procedures, TSQL, ad-hoc queries, and design reports.
- Install, set up and maintain SQL Server Reporting Services.
- Document database structures, systems’ configuration and procedures.
Supervisory Responsibilities: This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university.
Computer Skills:
3+ years experience as MS SQL Server DBA, including at least 2 years working with SQL Server 2005/2008. Experience with setting up and maintaining SQL Server failover cluster is a plus.
3+ years experience setting up and maintaining IIS 6.0/7.0.
Experience with MS Commerce Server 2007/2009 preferred.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
MCDBA preferred but not required.

Shipping Crew Lead - Mechanicsburg, PA
We are seeking a Warehouse Shipping Crew Lead to work in our Fulfillment Center located in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. The Shipping Crew Lead oversees all aspects of shipping crew functions to ensure daily performance goals are met. This individual enforces pre established guidelines and supervises operational workflow. This position reports to the Fulfillment Center Supervisor.
Duties:
- Pick/packs and scans product and sample orders for daily shipments.
- Ensures the successful completion of the pick/pack function in an efficient and accurate manner.
- Prepares package inserts including company catalogs and collateral.
- Prepares pickup and transfers of packages to the appropriate carriers.
- Assists with product labeling.
- Maintains and cleans space, equipment, and supplies.
- Conducts bi-weekly inventory audits and assists in reconciling physical counts.
- Assists with loading/unloading, receiving, stocking, branch transfers and replenishment.
- Assists with invoice generation and has an understanding of the inventory control system.
- Ability to identify problems and resolve with minimal disruption to the workflow.
- Acts as supervisor when Fulfillment Supervisor is absent.
- Acknowledges all safety guidelines and is compliant with OSHA standards.
- Performs other tasks as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); Up to 3 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Currently the warehouse operates between the hours of 7:30am to 4pm; however, candidates must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
